Solve this brain teaser!!!
What's up readers this brain teaser puzzle has me puzzled. No pun intended lol who will be the first to solve it.
Five patients, all potential blood donors, are waiting in the doctor's surgery and are sitting on the bench from left to right. Can you determine the position of each patient along with their blood group, age, height and weight? Their ages are 5, 9, 30, 46 and 60. Their heights are 40, 48, 60, 65 and 74. Their weights are 40, 75, 96, 125 and 165.
- The person on the far right is 37 years older than Jason, and is 60 inches tall.
- Jason weighs 56 pounds more than his height.
- Alan weighs 75 pounds and is 74 inches tall.
- John is type AB and weighs 56 pounds less than Jason.
- The person in the centre is 9 years old, is blood type AO and weighs 96 pounds.
- Adam, who is the first, is 65 inches tall, and weighs 100 pounds more than his height.
- The person who is blood type O, is 25 years older than the person to the left of them.
- Kevin is 60 years old.
- The person who is blood type A, is 55 years younger than Kevin and is not next to the person who is type AO.
- The person who is next to the 9 year old but not next to the person who is 65 inches tall, is blood type B, and weighs 125 pounds.
What's up with the Zika Virus!
If you are keeping abreast with the world news you might have heard about a mosquito - borne virus known as the Zika virus shortened to zik-v that is wreaking havoc in some countries around the world more concentrated primarily in the Western Hemisphere as of late. You may know about the virus but here are a few tips about the virus and how to decrease the chances of it infecting the entire population.
First I'm going to tell a little about the Zika virus:
First I'm going to tell a little about the Zika virus:
- Zika virus is a mosquito - borne flavivirus
- It is primarily transmitted by the aedes mosquito
- People infected with the Zika virus may have symptoms including mild fever, skin rash, conjunctivitis, muscle and joint pain, malaise or headache. These symptoms normally last from 2 - 7 days.
- Aedes mosquito usually bites during the day peaking during the early morning and late afternoon/evening.
Secondly I'll tell you a few tips on how to avoid being infected.
Protection against mosquito bites is a key measure to prevent Zika virus infection. This can be achieved by doing a number of things such as wearing clothes (preferably light-coloured) that cover as much of the body as possible; using physical barriers such as window screens or closing doors and windows; sleeping under mosquito nets; and using insect repellent containing DEET, IR3535 or icaridin according to the product label instructions.
Special care, attention and help should be given to those who may not be able to protect themselves adequately, such as young children, the sick or elderly. Travellers and those living in affected areas should take the basic precautions described above to protect themselves from mosquito bites.
It is important to cover, empty or clean potential mosquito breeding sites in and around houses such as buckets, drums, pots, gutters, and used tyres. Communities should support local government efforts to reduce mosquitoes in their locality. Health authorities may also advise that spraying of insecticides be carried out.
So that's all I have to say for now about the Zika virus thanks for reading. Expect more about the Zika virus in posts later on.

You applied! You got the job! Now what do you do?
Hey readers! Welcome to my first post i found it very important to write this blog because let's face it sometimes we don't exactly know how to function when starting a new job so here it goes....
For starters unless the job you applied for is the president of the United States or the queen of England you will have to report to someone. So what you need to do is make that person's life as easy as possible and it will only be uphill from there.
Secondly you need to win over your coworkers. So what you need to understand is that you are basically back in high school. Every office has it cliques and so being the new person and wanting to be liked and accepted by everyone can be difficult as your not sure who hates whom, who has the most influence over whom, who is closest to the boss and so your not sure who it would be in your bets interest to be friends with and so you may or may not be eating lunch alone for a couple of days.
So you been at this job for a while they are some key things that you need to do to survive but in this post I'll only address two of the most important ones. First you need to protect your reputation. It's easier said than done trust me but there are a few things you can do to help ease your days along.
Ok to start remember that body language and actual speaking language speaks volume. What do I mean by that you need to project competence you need to pay attention to what you speak how you speak and where you speak and to whom you speak it to. It can translate into you being an immature person and therefore not being taken seriously. Get in early, stay late I don't need to explain that it speaks for itself. Take a break on your social media during the work day what you share a post or video it has a time stamp. At every job there is that one person that get away with everything as in he comes to work late, he does not complete his assignment and he still gets promoted. Here's what you need to do look listen watch and learn there just might be something there that you can learn.
And lastly always and I stress always look like you know what you are doing. You can take comfort in the fact that you were chosen for the job based on your qualifications and so take care in learning the culture of the organization. Keep abreast of everything that current in your field as not to be ignorant to changes occurring and how they affect your daily tasks.
I know it's not much and it only address a few things but I hope this helps when starting your new job!!!!
